Issue

The TBZ team noticed water stains on the aft deck drop-down TV during a routine inspection.
The dealership had previously replaced the TV and claimed to have sealed the area, but the issue persisted.

To identify the true cause, our team conducted a controlled water test, spraying the roof and all potential leak points — including the radar mast, silicone-sealed screws, and antenna fittings.

Result: The leak originated from a small gap between the anchor light and its stainless-steel base, allowing water to travel down through the radar cable and drip inside the TV compartment — an area previously overlooked by the dealership.

Our Solution

The affected zone was carefully prepared, masking tape was applied to protect the light and base, and a very fine gap was left for sealing.
A precise seal was then applied using marine-grade white silicone, permanently closing the source of the leak.
